A tube TV has the same burn in issues as does a rear projection model--both use CRTs. A 27" TV is really not heavy at all compared to a 32" or 36" TV; I am not particularly big but can pick up my 27" TV and move it short distances, but moving a 36" TV requires at least two people, maybe three if they aren't real strong. A good compromise might be something like my Sony 43" digital RPTV. It is only about 130 lbs. and was less than $2000 with stand, tax, and delivery.Todd
