dts 5.1 = 6 discrete channels (l, r, c, rs, ls, sub)dts-es 6.1 Matrix = 6 discrete channels plus a matrixed back surround (l, r, c, rs, ls, bs, sub)
dts=es 6.1 Discrete = 7 discrete channels (l, r, c, rs, ls, bs, sub)
dts neo:6 = uses a 2 channel input to derive/simulate 5.1 surround
