I had a pair of the MG2B's, and I also rebuilt another set from the same series,for a customer. These are a two way model, with a thick voice coil for the mid/bass, and a thin voice coil for the top-end. The fuses seem to last longer than the thin wire for the voice coil. Actually, I baught them used, and I don't think all the fuses were the correct values as the originals. Regardless, obviously they break down over time as evidenced by corosion of the conductor in various sections of the length of the coil. I was impressed with how easily I was able to obtain the rebuild kit, which was enough wire and glue to do my pair, another pair, and more to go.
