I have the SD-9200 and have compared them with the newer units.The picture is very good ... but where it shines is the audio section.
None of the cheaper players can reproduce PCM sound like the 9200. Believe I have looked and failed to find a cheaper alternative.
If you are serious about music and have a high-end system you will not regret the purchase. Go for it !
