My Plasy was shipped today and I will not be cancelling my order.I may regret it ( I wanted 50" but they were too expensive.)
I felt there were more down sides to LCD than to Plasmas when I looked at them. The 2 biggest things I saw in faver of Plasma were the 160 viewing angle. This did not seem to hold true with the LCD's I saw, they really seemed to change as you moved to the sides. And the black contrast of course this was on the Sony Grand Wega. On the up side I could get a bigger screen cheeper that had an excellent Hi Res but the low res wasn't that great. ( Down converting I guess.)
Some times you have to make a choice and live with it and that is what I have done. (Plasma will be better next year to.)
Projectors keep coming down also and they seem to have the very best picture but I have no place to put one.
