Recently on AA I saw a post that claimed the Philips DVD963SA has progressive scan only on the component outputs. My screen can utilize progressive scan, but has only an Svideo input, so that's what I'm looking for. Questions:(1) Is it true that the 963SA only uses progressive scan on the component outputs?
(2) Is this common among DVD players, or is the 963SA an exception?
