Sorry to be so dense on this one but does this mean that if I have a sub that I would like to use for both a two channel (i.e. stereo) system and for a 5.1 set-up, in direct mode the sub will be bypassed? In otherwords if I use a sub with my two channel system, will it not work with the A/V receiver running in direct mode?The reason I'm asking is that the satellite/sub 5.1 system I am thinking about buying is quite small, so without the sub working in two channel mode the sound would be extremely bass shy. I hope this makes sense.
