Hello Sam,Thanks for your very quick respons.
One of my alternatives where also to put my existing poweramp in the preouts on the surround- receiver/amplifier, and use the other 3 power channels in the surround receiver/amplifier for the center and rear speakers
But I do think that it is very few surround receiver/amplifiers that have a very good pre-unit, unless you spend a whole lot of money on it.
However, I have heard that the company THULE should have a preamp/processor, where you can by-pass the digital units when using it for normal 2 channel stereo. I have to dig into that before I decide on where to go, Home Theater wise.
