THX Question

I just purchased a Sony STR-4ES A/V receiver. It is not, nor is any Sony that I am aware of THX certified. I have a 4 channel THX certified amp already. If I use the THX certified amp and run it through the Sony receiver for the front and rears. Will the audio that comes thru the fronts and rears be THX certified audio? Or, is it impossible to do? Thanks........
