Re: Authenticity of Pink Floyd Pulse DVD needed....please

As I understand, the PULSE dvd has not been released yet. I've been looking for it for some years now, and I haven't found it.

As I read before, your problems can be due to a zone problem, this means, that you have a DVD coded for Europe or Australia maybe. Since you found a "zone 0" on the box, this means that your dvd can be played in any dvd around the world. So, it doesn't have to be on NTSC or PAL to present that problems.

I've had some problems with dvds as you have, and always has been because the dvd is not original.

Here are some tips that may help you find out if your dvd is original:
-when you put the disc on the dvd player, it takes more time to start running it, and if you listen closely to the player, you can hear the lens trying to focus.
-can you see anything unusual on the screen when the program pass from one chapter to another?
-pay special attention to the time counter on the dvd player, if it seems to skip sometimes, or reports a time that it's not true
-and the more obvious thing, look at the color of the reading surface on the disc. It has to be as a normal cd, or at least one shade of yellow.

You can try to find that dvd on internet (amazon, just to say a site) and you'll see that noone is selling it.

If you ask my opinion, I would say your dvd is not original, but if you have it, original or not, let me say that you're much more lucky as I am!!!
