Currently there's a huge assortment of counterfeit Pulse DVD's with quite a decent picture quality and even with an alleged 5.1 sound scheme. These could have been derived from either VHS or, which is more likely, from the 1995 LD. I don't affirm that this particular DVD is of that sort of prints, but at least Amazon keeps on referring to Pulse, likewise the other much anticipated item, i.e. 'DSOT' as currently not being produced.
Apparently, as long as Gilmour himself recently stated that the remastering of the sound (should this project is whenever undertaken) would require a great deal of work and this work, perhaps, hasn't even started yet this 5.1 sound option offered by pirated DVD's is a fake or DPL, unless the illegal disks manufacturers have already mastered this sophisticated technology.
As regards the cover quality, sometimes it can hardly serve as a criterium since the polygraphic features of many of the pirated disks could be quite adequate.
