I am in the market for a new HT set-up for my home. I'm budgeting about 5-6K for the components and speakers (ex. TV). I'm confused about all this 2 channel and 7 channel stuff. From what I've gathered it seems that people believe that 2 channel amps handle music better but you need a multi channel receiver to do HT. Someone please enlighten me. All I want is a very good music listening experience plus a thunderous HT. Separates or one unit is irrelevant to me. For the speakers, I've decide on (I think I've decided) Anthony Gallo's. Suggestions, information, anything would be appreciated.
