Somewhat less? Did the man say "somewhat less" than $550. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but just last week I bought the 1600 model off Ebay, new (not "B" stock, refurbished) in a factory sealed box from an authorized dealer, for $325 including shipping. That strikes me as being somewhat less. Anyone who pays $550 or anywhere close to that is absolutely crazy.
