Hi All,I am no expert so please help. I have a Denon 4802 and I am trying to hook up my new Panasonic progressive Scan DVD player. The manual says you need to hook it up with component cables to use the Progressive scan.
Here is the dilema. I have connected the Coponent cables and the Optical cable to my Denon 4802 and I get nothing. When I hook up the DVD player to the Denon with an S-Video cable and the audio connectors, everything works fine.
Is there something with the Denon I need to set-up? I tried using the TV component input on the Denon as well (just to see if the DVD input wasn't working on the Denon) but this didn't work either!
Hopefully someone has dealt with this and it is an easy fix. The Denon is a great piece of equipment, but it is so complicated!
Thanks in advance!
Jmartel
