My Sony XBR is on top of an A/V stand that isn't easily moved.
No, I never had mine professionally adjusted but I did use the Sound & Vision Home Theater Tune Up DVD by Ovation. I adjusted the 'movie mode' setting on the Sony TV using the DVD kit with the tinted mylar that you look through for adjusting contrast, brightness, color, and tint.
