Do you have any magnetic devices near the TV like unshielded speakers?I'm guessing that your TV's 'pincushion' adjustment needs tweaking which isn't available in the normal consumer setup menus. You need to be in 'service mode'. Getting there varies by model and the service manual will tell you how to get there. Your best bet might be to call Sony or your dealer and get a tech out there to have a look at it.
