The Dolby Pro-logic signal is matrixed from a 2-channel stereo signal.
Anytime you feed the processor a stereo signal it will spit out 4 channels of audio- front left, center, front right, and surround (the 2 surround channels are a mono signal). You should be getting a signal from your rear speakers in Dolby pro-logic. Dolby 5.1 (digital) requires a digital input and sends a seperate signal to the rear channels and the ".1" is the LFE (low frequency effect) channel. Do a search on the web. There's tons of info available.
