Anyone have experience with the Sony DVP-S7700 and Pioneer Elite DV-09?

I'm considering purchasing either the Sony DVP-S7700ES or the Pioneer Elite DV-09 DVD player. Can anyone give me some information on their experience with either of these units? In particular, is there a significant difference in build quality, sound, picture, features,versatility,compatability with new formats, looks, durability,etc...
Any information from people with experience would be greatly appreciated.
