I need some helps. I tried Monster 2 Component Video between my DVD player and my Digital Ready TV. In parallel, I also had S-video cable. Side by Side I can't tell the true benefits of having Component Video; however, the s-video side had a darker color than the component video side which makes the s-video side look a whole better. What am I doing incorrectly? I thought that component video cable is supposed to be a whole lot better...providing cleaner, crisper images. Granted that it does with the shielding, but I had to squint and focus my eyes very hard in order to detect the shielding benefits. Thanks.
