A/V Receiver - Recommendations PLEASE

I will be replacing my homebrew integrated tube amp in my main system. I am looking to update from an audio only to an A/V system. I request recommendations for an A/V Receiver, Integrated Amp or Pre-amp. Must be MUSICAL since I do a lot of 2-channel music listening. I have the mains, subs, center and surrounds in various stages of completion (some complete, some WIP, some designed on paper). Price range: <$1500.
