keep your tube integrated unit to handle the music duties and add a A/V receiver to handle the HT duties. Simply run the front L&R preamp outputs from the A/V receiver to an available input on your tube integrated unit. When you want to play music you will be bypassing the A/V receiver completely. This is what I do in my system. In my experience, none of the HT preamps/recievers can do justice to music the way a dedicated 2 channel preamp/integrated can. Believe me I have tried.
