Do you find "Dolby Digital" misleading?

I'm feeling a bit mislead by all the hoopla surrounding "Dolby Digital". It is being used for 2 channel release and just about anything (including mono) that has a Dolby wand waved near it. Careful scrutiny is needed to confirm it is 5.1 and not one of the other 5 varieties favoured with the Dolby logo. I guess it is too entrenched now but thought I'd have a moan - feel a bit better now!
