poor antenna signal

I upgraded form a Sony 27" TV to a Sony 32" in my home theater system. Now I'm getting a poor picture on channel 2 and 4(snow). I use mostly Monster Cable and use an inside antenna. I talked to Sony and the TV is hooked up correctly. Also bought a power antenna and one filter from Radio Shack but I'm still not having any luck. I tried unpluging components. No luck. Could I have a bad TV turner? Or do I need to do something else?
