Doesn't matter if you use the players decoder or the amps, still has to be decoded before it is amplified!

Good point! I should've checked with my brain before I posted that. So what I'm understanding is that for standard, 2-channel, CD music, it should be no detriment to use a DVD player with DD/DTS decoding as opposed to one without. Right?
