Hi: I agree that prices will likely increase, but I think the strange mix of prices will continue. Certainly for old movies the prices should be lower, the big companies have already made tons of profit off of them and most people would not pay $40 for a copy of "Run Silent, Run Deep" or "Rio Bravo." The risk the big studios face is that they may price themselves out of the market. DVD has taken off because the machines are cheap and most movies are not too expensive.
