I hope this is the right forum...I tried watching a downloaded movie (legally) two days ago and wound up frustrated instead. Could you help answer some questions?
During the course of the movie, played through my PC with the built-in Media Player, the visual and audio kept stopping after about 40 minutes. When it happened a few more times, I gave up.
The next day, friends at work said that Microsoft's media player was the culprit and not reliable and suggested I download Quicktime from Apple. This, they said, would help me with it.
Question: I did download Quicktime, but when I inserted the DVD, the MSN media player still played it and did the same stopping. How do I guide the Quicktime to play the DVD? The MSN media player seems very dominant.
What is the Media Player Classic? Should I download it? What is the best way to watch movies on your PC?
Thank you.
George
