Opinions on combo HT / business presentation projectors

Just curious if any of those sub $1500 projectors for business presentations work any decent as budget home theater projectors?
I'm trying to come up with an angle that my employer might buy into for business use - with the benefits of me keeping it at home for after hours use. ;-)
