Just bought a Samsung DVD HD-941 and a Sharp 26" LCD TV and get popping/clicking sounds from the TV speakers only while using the HDMI cable. The popping can come from just the left or right & usually both speakers. It is frequent and random.
I often have to "rewind" the movie because I miss dialog the popping can mask. Actually, at times, the soundtrack blanks out for almost a second. I exchanged the DVD player but got same result.
Works fine watching cable TV or using RCA cables...
Does anyone have the same experience w/HDMI cable?
