The amp is on old 5 channel Carver 505x. Yes, the Krell does have bass management, and at the moment it is doing just that. My point was, since I have only 2 channels, can I not replace the Krell HTS with a good 2 channel analog preamp, and feed the sub line level signals from the analog preamp ? I realize that my speakers will be run full range, but as per Sumiko, I can run the Auditor's full range, and the speakers should be fine.Thanks
