what does your poor reception exhibit?
Diagonal lines= FM interference
Snow = poor cabeling & or antenna or loose connections & or poor coax fittings
scrolling Hum bar= ground loop
Is the antenna wire loose or in bad shape?
RG6 cable has much better isolation & less signal loss
Check connections inside & out
Use an inline DC filter whenever amps are in the lines.....
Just trying to do a blind fix-it..
