and probably no prospects for HDMI 1.3 support. I have to decide whether I want to pay more than a Grand on a player I'm probably going to have the itch to replace within 3 years time (assuming I actually upgrade the pre/pro and add the two extra channels and add a 1080p display ...).
Same is true with virtually every other Blu-ray player out there TODAY. The PS 3 is the cheapest option but then I'm not likely to have anything better than DD/DTS 5.1 for years if I go this route.
