Yes, I read the article. I don't personally give the story a lot credibility, BUT it does serve as yet another indicator that the scales are indeed tipping. Hearsay, buzz, word-of-mouth... whatever you call it does not diminish the impact it has on consumers.

A lot of people want this technology for their homes once they see HD in action. The only thing stopping them from buying is the confusion of two competing formats... well, and price. And price is HD-DVD's only remaining advantage.
