Well, my point is about capacity

If you pour some of the same orange juice into a big glass and a small glass, it's going to taste the same. But if you're trying to choose which type of glass to use, knowing that the small glass will quickly fill up, it makes sense to choose the big one.

A/V content by its nature uses a lot of bandwidth and disc space. High res A/V content, even moreso. The greater capacity, the better.
