How can I know if a LCD TV is HDCP capable. Most salesmen do not know the term HDCP and some times the answer is "oh, yes it's got HDMI"!!! Is there a way to find out if a TV supports HDCP from a unit on display in a store, without having to connect a Bluray/HDDVD player and checking if I displays 1080p? Often brochures and websites are silent on this matter. One salesman said that HDCP is only available on 1080p displays. This doesn't sound right. Can anybody confirm?
Thanks in advance.
