Thanks. I also use a 9000ES, which is connected to the XBR via the component inputs. The 480P signal looks quite nice, but I was asking whether I'd get a Blu-ray disc player to work via those same inputs. From what I've gathered, it looks like I'll be able to get the XBR to display a 1080i image with Blu-ray discs. Not sure what would happen with a standard DVD, however, but I'll still the 9000ES for those. (The XBR thankfully has 2 sets of component inputs, so I can connect both machines at the same time.)
