RE: A small warning.

Agreed. I was at a Myer Emco (mid-level AV chain in the Washington, DC area) and saw a Toshiba LCD w/ some horrible interference running through the screen. When I pointed it out to the salesguy, he admitted he hadn't even noticed it, and said they don't adjust their sets at all - they just pull them out of the box and put them on display!

It's really hard to judge TVs from store displays.

I bought a Panasonic TH42-PX600U. It's a great TV. However, I took a lot of time reading up on various sets at avsforums.com beforehand.
