Basically, yes. For more practical TV watching I can watch down in the
basement area on a larger TV, but it doesn't have rear speakers so on some shows, say the X-files, I wouldn't mind watching in my room. My parents
have a small 13" TV sitting in the kitchen and it gets decent reception with a plain old pole antenna that came with it. I guess most people get cable or so such that my 20" Sony didn't even come with an antenna!! Call me old-fashioned but I have no time for cable.Jay
