Absolutely, some are worse than others, but I haven't seen any of mine that looked bad--lucky, I guess.Sure wish it didn't overscan; the highest actual aspect ratio I've measured* on a Panavision film (Tom Hanks's 'Big') is 2.20, which means the TV is hiding about 3/4" per side. Maybe there's an overall-width control in this one.
.* Obsessive? Compulsive? WHO, ME? Just because I've remeasured the AR of EVERY DVD in my cabinet doesn't mean I'm obsessed with this stuff!...much. :-)
