Hi
I've got a Hitachi rear projection set (1080i) that I'm not ready to replace. However I would like to get a Blu-Ray player.
The Hitachi RPTV has a DVI input.
What I'd like to know is:
(a) whether I will get good results by integrating a Blu-Ray player using an HDMI-DVI cable; and
(b) how should I connect the new Blu Ray player such that the video signal goes directly to the TV via the HDMI-DVI cable, while the audio signal goes to my AV receiver?
I know these are dumb questions... but help would be appreciated.
All best
S
