Just bought a second BDP-S300 player for a second system. My first unit is great, nice resolution and fantastic upconverting with sound extended at the frequency ranges. The second unit has mediocre upconverting with slight flickering but incredible deep color - almost too much color! - that is still well balanced in the fleshtones. Treble is not well extended and bass is much deeper and tighter than the first unit. Both were new "A" stock bought from local dealer with latest firmware. Even my wife immediately noted the difference. Is this normal or did I get a dud unit?
