definitely a puzzle

There are many reasons that one could buzz and another be "silent", but there doesn't seem to be one factor that stands out. Poor QC, the use of different suppliers, different parts, altitude tolerances, temperature, wall mount vs stand mount, carpeted environment vs wood/tile flooring, etc. And any of those factors could be more or less of a contributor should another factor change (ie, quiet when stand mounted vs slight buzz when wall mounted).

My Panasonic is over 4 years old and to this day is very quiet, even when it's turned ON.
