Got a copy of "Gloomy Sunday" from HK last week and tried to watch it a few days ago. The disk is labeled NTSC but is printed in Chinese. My Oppo is set to Region Free and I set it up to play in Hungarian with English subtitles. The native audio is Chinese. The longer it played the more out of synch the subtitles became. Before it finally froze (about 60% through) the subtitles were lagging 4 to 5 seconds.I'm not sure if this is the player or the disk. I was wondering if I were asking the Oppo to do "too much"?
Any ideas?
PS. No visible damage to the disk whatsoever.
