I forgot that Pioneer was out of business.
I don't know which player, even their cheapest BluRay Retails for $600, - correct?
The video signal will go straight HDMI into the Kuro. (I'm not running any kind of audio or video processors, or surround sound).
My concern is not audio, not in the list. I'll be taking, - most likely, - optical audio output of the player into a Stello DAC. I may take RCA SPDIF output of the BluRay player if it stacks up better on BluRay than the DireCTV, - but right now, - DirecTV has the SPDIF output going to the Stello DAC/pre-amp.
