I am trying to decide about an LCD for a HTPC setup. I will be using it for DVD's Blu Ray, on line video and general web browsing. We will be sitting about 10 feet away. I was hoping to spend less than $500. One option is a Viore brand 37" 1080p for $449. other options include 32" 720p for about $300 and a used toshiba 37" 720p for $375.
Questions
Is 37" the mimimum I can use? should I really be thinking bigger?
Do I need 1080p for web browsing?
