Since you're using an HTPC, I would opted for the 1080p panel. Desktop and online images are so much crisper on it when compared to 720p.Go as large as you can!!! Even if you have to wait and save a bit more. At 10 feet, 50 inches is the smallest I would consider. Even then you'll wish you'd went larger after you get it home and set up. lol
