RE: possible misunderstanding

I was just referencing the UK releases because I buy most of my BDs there. Music discs too. They are far cheaper than in Canada and usually the U.S. too, even after shipping costs. Life has been out in the UK for a while. As you said, like Planet Earth, it's not region/area-locked, the problem is many people over here have players that won't do 50Hz stuff. My understanding is the UK box is incorrectly labelled as 1080p.

Actually, now that I think about it, there *may* be an advantage to getting the 1080i/50 UK version of Life if you can play it. It was "filmed" at 25fps. Rate conversion. What do you think?

Certainly the U.S. releases will be playable here.
