It certainly pays to have a flat screen delivered to where it is going to be used.
I am guessing you don’t have insurance?
IMHO two lessons may have been learnt.
1) Pay for delivery
2) Have appropriate insurance
If you don’t have insurance all you can do is contact the retailer and tell your sob story and maybe they might help you out in some way. (It never hurts to ask)
