It was Saturday and I was probably having a beer …

... So I know exactly what I was thinking of :)

Obviously everywhere is different.

The last screen I bought was a 65” Panasonic. The local stores did not have it in stock but quoted a price.

I found the best online price (not including delivery) and put it to the local store I deal with.

They matched the online price which was $1,110 less than the normal price and $710 less than the best price offered by another local store.
Delivery was inclusive from the local store.

I only deal with the owner/franchisee/ manager of a store. I simply offer them a price for what I want. The ball is then firmly in their court to price match or not make a sale.

I personally wouldn’t fuck around buying a 65 inch screen online if I can get it locally for the same price or within a few hundred dollars.

However IF there is a genuine $1,150 difference then of course one must consider buying online.
