than my neighbors new 55" Samsung LCD.
LCD's just don't look right to me. No depth, artificial. The dreaded 'soap opera effect'.
I wish they hadn't stopped making LCD projectors and DLP, but everyone wants a one inch screen depth.
Plasma's a pain in the butt (screen burn-in, buzz, lack of brightness) but it's about the best we have now.
I have high hopes for OLED. I'd like to buy a tv I like better than one that's 6 years old.
