Hi folks,This is my first post ever in the Video Asylum. About 2 years ago I was bitten by the audio bug. In response to that bite, I spent many months looking for and auditioning the components that would eventually live in my home. I'm glad that I was bitten.
Very soon, I will be looking for a home to buy (I'm currently renting) and have acquired an interest in HT. I plan on keeping my current two channel audio system seperate from the HT system I plan on putting together.
My thought was to get a DVD player that can also play CDs because I want to be able to listen to tunes on this HT system also. Is this a good idea or should I get a seperate CDP for my HT system instead?
I've never owned a DVD player and do not know if they make for quality CD sound.
It may help to know that music is infinately more important to me then movies.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!
- Charlie
